John Prine - Vancouver, B.C. - July 9th, 2016

and....oh my how happy I will be.

Possibly, this maybe the last time I shall see John Prine in concert.  John is the same age as my Noisemaker (they will be 70 years and glowing this year).  John moves much better than my Noisemaker, John appears to be flexible - especially when he brings out that big white guitar!

I am so excited to be able to attend.  I hope to meet up with some new Prine friends, perhaps even find some 'old' Prine friends.  As an added bonus - smucksville, I will get to go a McDonalds and get a quarter pounder with cheese and fries!  YIPPEE - how lucky can one gal get. . .

Counting the days down til I get to Prine.

Good Day, hay

A few year back, my friend - Naj made this for me.  I had it hanging on the woodshed.  This winter in a blizzard we had, it disappeared.  

When the snow melted, I found it.  Smucksville, all the paint was removed from being under snow for months.  I restored it and for all here, Good Day, hay!

All The Snow Is Turning To Water

Due to the lack of snow this winter, I am concerned about the forest.  It is so dry.  It is going to be a long, hot, dry summer.  

I suspect the creek will be bone dry near the end of May.

The forest fires will be upon and all hell will break loose.

Lydia

Alas, Lydia has finally received a new head.  Not sure I like her sad look, however, I know she is awaiting for her Donald to arrive.

Spring is upon us.

Buttons

I have been learning to knit a new project.  It requires a button. Simple, do not you think. 

 

We go into town today, I am on a mission I want six only white buttons about 3/4 inch/ 1/2 inch...geez, I will take what any store has. . .

 

There was not a store I could purchase a button or buttons from.  Good heavenly (curse words) days, it was just buttons I wanted to purchase.

 

Yep, when you can't even purchase buttons - you best turn to Prine.  

A Very Good Day, eh...

My friend, Naj made this for me a few years back.   A great wind/snow storm in mid November took it off where it once was and placed it in the snow.

It is spring now, I found it.  I Sharpie Silver and it looks great.
