No need for you to post this, but I just want to say thanks for posting the congrats and other info about my Goodman bio. You may already know, but Prine is key among my 1,000-plus interviewees. I was fortunate to talk with him for more than four hours (four one-hour interviews), and he was quite helpful and willing to go over chronology and details that went far beyond his usual comments and stories. The book is all the richer for that.
Oh no, Clay ~ it is my pleasure. Fortunate you were to be able to speak with John Prine and that he was willing to assist you with your book. He is such a gentleman and I can understand how your book is richer for that. I spoke with John Prine also, but for about 1:44 minutes :) I will try to seek your book out when I go to Vancouver to see John Prine in October.
Clay, thank you for finding my lil bit of a blog. How the heck did ya find me? I appreciate your posting and of course, will always have admiration for Steve Goodman.
